SCULPTURAL OBJECTS

White Tower is one of the quieter vertical works. It is a piece about proportion, placement and attention. The narrow white column rises from a small base, standing among trees almost like a mast, a marker or a small architectural tower.
Its scale is modest in footprint but strong in height. The object draws a line upward through the garden, measuring the space between ground, foliage and sky. From a distance it appears almost plain, a white vertical form set into green. Closer up, the construction becomes more specific. Small copper elements, rooves and framed openings interrupt the surface, giving the tower the character of something between sculpture and model.
Placed among trees, White Tower becomes part of the garden’s own vertical order. Trunks, branches and the white column stand in relation to one another. The work does not compete with the landscape. It sharpens it. It makes height, stillness and light visible.
